I thought I would continue the conversation by going into depth on perhaps one of the most important energy centres to understand, the 4th energy centre – The Heart.
The heart is the first organ to begin pumping within the foetus. Before any sign of life, the heart begins to pump the spark of presence into our developing body. The heart is the beginning, before the brain and the heart as you will soon discover is the end to our conscious unravelling.
The frequency of energy speeds up as it flows from radio waves through to gamma rays, creating the black, red colours at the slower speeds through to the purple, white colours at the faster speeds. Trying to then box gemstones in under their respective energy centre becomes an arduous task because frequency always free flows.
The problem is this – When you talk to gemstone experts they will tell you that green and pink both reside at the heart chakra and so are useful stones for the frequency of love. But how can both these colours (colours that are constructed by frequency) be resonating at the same place when they are colours that don’t exist side by side in the colour spectrum. Pink’s frequency is inbetween red and orange while green’s frequency is inbetween yellow and blue. They are definitely not spinning at similar speeds and so should not be grouped together at all.
As I tried to grapple with this problem, I began to think that energy centres and gemstone avatars are two independent schools of thought that didn’t get the memo, but then as I began to search deeper I stumbled across a clue that unfolded the curious case of the green pink heart, revealing that it actually holds many more colours than previously expected.
Frequency cannot be boxed in and as you delve into your practice, you too, will soon discover that energy keeps moving. Your energetic self keeps tuning into the frequency you own during any moment of experience, creating either a block that results in a depleted or excessive energetic centre, or balance that results in empowering life. Only once all centres are in balance does wisdom empower itself into a state of cognizing union with all moments of experience. This empowered non-judgmental state is the final frontier of consciousness and like all developmental stages comes with a right of passage that only the heart can master.
The first right of passage comes when life is finally balanced. This happens when the first three centres are finely tuned in with each other creating a balanced lifestyle, energising the heart chakra. Earning this balanced state is a hard won lesson because energising will power to masterfully work hard and play hard in a balanced unison is where most of society falls short, creating depleted and excessive centres to compensate and resulting in broken hearts that fail to balance life.
So how do we protect our heart from breaking?
Consciousness begins instinctually, becomes intellectual and ends in a universal mindfulness and the one energy centre that traverses all three is the heart. Love is the one true language of the soul, and hence the reason we all get to experience love in so many different dimensions.
Instinctual – We experience a passionate love that is in union with the other sexually.
Intellectual – We experience a self-love that then falls into union with others tenderly.
Universal – We experience a compassionate love that is in union with all moments meditatively.
These three expressions of love are experienced within three energy centres
The Sacral / The Heart / The Crown and beyond
These energy centres deal with very different speeds of frequency and so are experienced as different colours.
Orange pink / green / purple white.
The heart is needed at the instinctual level to pump desire and pleasure into the sacral, energising the centre and revealing a deep connection into ones passions evoking our true purpose in life.
The heart is needed at the intellectual level to pump a love of self into the heart, energising the centre and revealing a tender lovingness that evokes a nurturing state that heals self, loves others and protects the planet.
The heart is needed at the universal level to pump compassion into the crown, energizing the centre and revealing the yin yang non judgemental awakening that evokes transcendence and moves the energy beyond self and into the 8th centres and beyond.
The heart pumps energy in the most peculiar of ways. It’s the beat, it’s the base and it’s the frequency we then see as pink, green and white. The evolution of our mind focusing on separate matter, to focusing on energetic union is the evolutionary tale for humankind. From a separate instinctual awareness, to a nurturing intellectual awareness, to a united Source awareness, consciousness absorbs the united energetic frequency from which it came through the very beating of our heart. Our heart is precious, revere it, hold it up high, never play games with it, treat it with tender loving care and always allow – Allow your heart to beat with absolute passion, absolute love and absolute compassion.
My wife and I are artisans and seekers of the infinite. In the attempt to box in coloured gems within the energy centres we have merged love into its three dimensions. So pink lies within the sacral and white within transcendence, leaving the green stones for the heart.
Sacral – 2nd chakra

Darks to light greens incorporating emeralds, prasiolite and green quartz.
Beyond the body – 8th chakra and beyond
White incorporating diamonds, clear quartz, moonstone and white pearl.
